Awnings & Motorized Shade for Ontario Homes

Ontario is a working city with two personalities, and our crews install in both every week. North of the 60 there’s the historic side, the grand median of Euclid Avenue, the older ranch and block-and-stucco homes near downtown, and neighborhoods that have been shading themselves with patio covers for decades. South of the 60, Ontario Ranch is the opposite story: thousands of new-build homes rising around parks and lakes, filled with young families building their first real backyards. Two very different kinds of houses, one shared truth , inland summers here are long, bright, and relentless.

In the older neighborhoods, the shade problem is usually the patio that was an afterthought, a concrete slab with full afternoon sun and nothing over it. That’s where a retractable awning earns its keep: wall-mounted to stucco or block, extended for dinner, retracted for open sky. No posts eating up a small slab, no permanent structure to permit, just shade exactly when you want it, with an optional wind sensor that pulls it in when the gusts come up.

Ontario Ranch calls for a bigger vision. These are larger lots with outdoor kitchens, California rooms, and pools, and the families moving in want the backyard finished, not phased over five years. We’re regularly installing wide cassette awnings with built-in LED lighting, drop screens on the west side for low sun, and full patio covers for families who want a true outdoor room. If you can dream it in a model home, we can build it in yours.

The third Ontario classic is the motorized power screen , zip-track Somfy screens that drop over sliders, covered patios, and garage openings. They intercept the heat before it hits your glass, which keeps the house noticeably cooler and takes real load off the AC, and they seal out the flying insects that show up at dusk. Retracted, they disappear into a slim cassette; dropped, your covered patio becomes a screened room.

When you want permanent structure, our patio covers give Ontario families a solid-roofed outdoor room, ceiling fans, recessed lighting, engineered for wind and snow loads, finished to match your home. We handle the engineered plans and the city permit process start to finish.

Ontario is also a logistics-hub town, and plenty of our customers here work shifts that don’t match daylight. Zip-track screens earn a second job on those homes: dropped over the great-room glass and bedroom-adjacent patios, they knock the heat and glare down so a daytime sleeper’s house stays dark and cool, then retract when the household wakes up. It’s a use case we talk through on almost every Ontario estimate.

One more Ontario reality: we’re based in Eastvale, minutes away. When your awning needs a seasonal check, a fabric refresh years down the road, or a wind-sensor tweak after a storm, the crew that installed it is a short drive from your door, not a regional call center three counties over. That’s the whole point of hiring a local company.

Every retractable awning and motorized screen we install in Ontario is backed by our 15-year warranty, one of the strongest in the business. And because moving into a new home (or fixing up an old one) stretches every budget, financing is available with rates with flexible financing options for qualified buyers.
