Pick your product and size
Choose your awning or power screen. Every product card shows the maximum width and projection or drop it can be built at, so you always know your limits before you measure.
Configure colors and options
Pick your frame color, fabric, controls, and accessories. You see your DIY price update live as you build, with the 25% DIY discount applied at checkout.
Check out and pick up or ship
Place your order online. Sales tax is calculated from your shipping address, or pay the Corona rate of 8.75% when you pick up at our Corona facility. We confirm every order before it is built.
DIY Quick-Build Special
Open Roll awnings, preset sizes, one-touch ordering
12 to 20 feet wide at maximum projection, wind sensor included, wall mount, white or black frame. Pick a size, pick your colors, done. SoCal delivery $150 per awning.

How does the 25% DIY discount work?+
When you order direct and install it yourself, you take 25% off the retail price. Your order summary shows your item prices, then a single line item for the DIY discount of 25%, then sales tax, then your total. No surprises.
What tools or skills do I need?+
Most DIY installs need basic tools: a drill, a level, a tape measure, and a ladder. Every product ships with mounting hardware and step-by-step instructions, and our team is a text away if you get stuck.
What if my size is bigger than the maximum shown?+
The maximums on each product are the largest sizes we can build. If your space is bigger, text us and we will help you split it into two units or find another option that fits.
How do I pay?+
Place your order online and AJ Shades will contact you to arrange payment. Nothing is charged automatically.
Can I pick up my order instead of shipping it?+
Yes. Choose pickup at checkout and collect your order at our Corona facility. Pickup orders are taxed at the Corona sales tax rate of 8.75%.
Does the 15-year warranty still apply to DIY orders?+
Yes. DIY retractable awnings and motorized power screens carry the same 15-year product warranty as our professionally installed systems.
